Globo by Miguel Milá

Kettal reintroduces Globo (1965)

Globo is a masterpiece by Spanish designer Miguel Milá and an icon of 20th-century lighting design. Originally awarded the Delta de Oro, the collection is defined by its radical simplicity and pioneering use of industrial blow moulding to create a translucent polyethylene sphere with perfectly balanced proportions.

The sphere screws onto a black injected plastic support, finished with a refined brass lamp holder, expressing Milá’s honest approach to materials and construction.

Now updated by Kettal in four sizes — 17, 30, 40, and 60 cm — and suitable for outdoor use, Globo adapts effortlessly to a wide variety of spaces, offering a soft and diffused light that is both functional and atmospheric.
